In November we saw several news agencies saying that Pedro Pascal will play Mister Fantastic in the next Fantastic Four film. Today Marvel confirmed this information and revealed practically the entire main cast of the film with a special Valentine’s Day publication.

In the image we see Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman (Sue Richards) and Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) in the role of The Human Torch.
Although it is impossible to recognize, Ebon Moss-Bachrach (from The Bear) will be The Thing with a look identical to what we have seen in the comics and previous Marvel films.

The illustration also shows HERBIE, the family robot, who seems to have a more humanized style in this version, leaving aside the serious and realistic tone of the 2015 film.
Fantastic Four will be released on July 25, 2025 in cinemas around the world with the difficult task of being a good adaptation of the comics, as the versions released in 1994 and 2015 were heavily criticized and failed at the box office.

Almost a year since the first rumors that Adam Driver would play Mister Fantastic / Reed Richards in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, another actor has been cast in the role.
According to several renowned Hollywood outlets, Pedro Pascal is in final negotiations for the role, which took many by surprise.

Since Marvel finalized the acquisition of most of the properties of the late 20th Century Fox, many have been wondering when the X-Men and the Fantastic Four will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Although some mutants and Mister Fantastic have already appeared in this universe, we are still waiting for films focused on these franchises, starting with the Fantastic Four feature, which will be directed by Matt Shakman.
Even with rumors that the Quartet film has been going through some creative turmoil, the end of the actors’ strike seems to have cleared the way for Marvel to finally announce the cast, starting with the new interpreter of Mister Fantastic.
With the Multiverse plot being the main focus of the MCU at the moment, we will see many different versions of the same character, so this means that several different actors can take on the same mantle. Spider-Man: No Return Home has already shown us this in practice, sending fans into a frenzy, which makes us think that this will become more and more frequent from now on.
Although John Krasinski played Mister Fantastic in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, we knew that wasn’t the “definitive” version of the hero. Although it is not yet clear how the Quartet will be introduced into this universe, it seems that Pedro Pascal is the one who will take on the difficult burden of the hero’s multiple iterations in the future.
