Yesterday, Friday, the Dubai Government Media Office said that the British Royal Navy fired 96 rounds, on the ninth of September, at 4 pm, from Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, in a farewell salute to Queen Elizabeth II. Also yesterday, Friday, 96 artillery rounds were fired in London, in honor of the late Queen.
In Abu Dhabi, several iconic buildings have been lit up in purple in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.
