The indoor skatepark, a staple of the local community, is inviting skaters and residents alike to join the festivities, which coincide with the city’s annual DeKalb Corn Fest.
The anniversary celebration kicks off on Friday, August 28, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted alongside the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce at 12:15 p.m., according to Instagram details provided by the venue. Following the afternoon ribbon-cutting, the venue will host a corn-themed art show from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering free admission for community members to come hang out, view local works, and celebrate a decade of local skateboarding culture.
As part of the 10th-anniversary milestone, Fargo Skateboarding is rolling out its signature Fargo Classic Skate Contest across the weekend, featuring cash and prizes totaling over $3,000. Registration for competing skaters is open early online for $20, with entry increasing to $30 after Friday, as outlined in the venue’s public schedule.

The competitive events are spread out over Saturday and Sunday to accommodate various age groups and skill levels. On Saturday, August 29, the schedule features divisions for beginners, ladies, and intermediate skaters.
