BIBB COUNTY, Georgia (Telemundo Atlanta) – A woman pushing a shopping cart was killed early Sunday morning when she was run over, authorities said.
Emergency services arrived to attend to the victim in the Shurling Drive area, at the Pinehill Drive intersection, around 12:42 a.m.
The victim, who was wearing dark clothing, was found lying at the scene and pronounced dead by the local coroner. According to the report, the woman was not carrying any identification.

Authorities indicated that the driver of the vehicle that hit her remained in the area after the accident.
