A 48-year-old car driver died Thursday evening in Seiersberg-Pirka south of Graz in a collision with an S-Bahn train.
The train driver saw the woman’s car at the level crossing on Premstätter Strasse and initiated emergency braking, but was unable to prevent a collision.
The car was dragged regarding 150 meters. The driver from the Graz-Surroundings district died at the scene of the accident, the police said on Friday.
