An elderly man was killed, today, Friday, in the village of Kafr Quritaneh, affiliated to the center and city of Mahalla, Gharbia Governorate, in a quarrel with his neighbors.
And the security services in Gharbia had received a notification from the warden of the Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra Police Station, stating that an elderly person had been killed by another due to a dispute between them over agricultural land, in the village of Kafr Qaritanah, which is affiliated with the center’s district.
A security force moved from the Criminal Investigation Department, headed by Major Muhammad Emara, the head of the center’s investigations, and it was found that “Abdul Fattah. Al”, who is 58 years old, was killed by one of his neighbors, who is called “L. S. A”, who is 80 years old, after a verbal altercation. It developed into a quarrel with sticks and tattoos between the two families, due to disputes between them over agricultural land.
The forces imposed a security response, the parties to the quarrel were seized, the body was transferred to the morgue, a report of the incident was drawn up, and the Public Prosecution office was notified to investigate the incident.
The criminal investigations were assigned to carry out the necessary investigations to find out the causes and circumstances of the incident, and to assign forensic medicine to clarify the anatomical character and find out the cause of death, in preparation for issuing the burial permit and handing over the body to the family.
