At least two people died in a shooting that occurred on Monday (04/08/2024) in an office building in Las Vegas, Nevada state (United States), in which the gunman also died, local media reported.
Police sources told ABC 13 television that the shooting occurred in the offices of a law firm where a court deposition was being held. The shooter killed two people before taking his own life.
The Las Vegas Police Department (LVMPD) reported that it responded to an emergency call about shots fired just after 10 a.m. local time (17:00 GMT), in the Summerlin area.
“This is an ongoing event and multiple LVMPD emergency vehicles are responding. Please avoid the area. We will have more information soon,” the department posted on its X account.
The Police have not provided further details about the ongoing investigation. According to ABC television, the shooting took place at the Prince Law Group law firm.
