A young man stabbed his uncle to death while they were watching the Mexican soccer final between Chivas and Tigres from the UANL.
The events were recorded in the La Aurora neighborhood, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on Sunday night.
The victim, between 50 and 60 years old, received five injuries to the back and abdomen.
Police reports indicate that the attack occurred after comments made by the victim about the defeat of the Sacred Flock.
The young man managed to flee the crime scene and fled, so the authorities are already working on his search.
Chivas de Guadalajara lost the soccer final, losing 3-2 to Tigres, who managed to turn the score around in extra time.
Double Murder at El Bethel
The Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the death of two men that occurred in the early hours of this Monday in the El Bethel neighborhood, in the municipality of Guadalajara.
At approximately 2:50 a.m., municipal police officers went to Antonio Mendizar and Manuel García streets, where firearm detonations were reported as well as injured people.
Upon arrival, they located two men injured by a firearm projectile, for which they requested the presence of municipal paramedics, who confirmed the death of one of them, while the second male was transferred to an aid station to receive medical attention. However, shortly after his admission he passed away.
The staff of the Intentional Homicide Investigation Unit in coordination with elements of the Investigative Police began with the first inquiries to clarify the fact as well as to capture whoever is responsible.
