Federal law enforcement authorities have successfully dismantled a terror plot targeting the New York State Capitol building in Albany, according to an announcement from the FBI. Law enforcement provided an inert firearm and a non-functional explosive device built using components she had previously purchased.
Bowie was taken into custody near a McDonald’s restaurant in Albany shortly after leaving a vehicle with the inert weapon, ammunition, and dummy explosive device. Upon her arrest, authorities recovered knives and a handwritten pledge of allegiance.
