FC Barcelona overthrew Sevilla FC 3-0 at Camp Nou on Sunday for the 20th day of La Liga, and widened the gap at the top of the standings.
The Blaugranas started the game badly, with the injury of their captain Sergio Busquets, injured in the left ankle.
They won with goals from Jordi Alba (58th), Gavi (70th) and Raphinha (79). With this fourth success in a row in La Liga, the Catalans are asserting their domination of their national championship, and are full of confidence ten days before their play-off in the knockout stages of the Europa League against Manchester United.
They are now eight points clear of Real Madrid who were upset 1-0 at Mallorca in the afternoon.
