FC Barcelona will take out the checkbook to sign one of the pearls of Brazilian football such as Vitor Roque. The 18-year-old striker has closed his signing with the Catalans and will arrive at the club in January 2024.
His signing for Barça, coming from Athletico Paranaense, had already been known for a couple of weeks, although now Globoesporte has leaked the detailed figures of the transfer and it seems that there is no financial crisis in the Catalan entity.
The Brazilian media revealed that the final figure that Barcelona will pay for Vitor Roque is 74 million euros.
Of this amount, 40 million will be fixed for the signing, then Barça will pay 21 million in bonuses and sports variables, while the remaining 13 million are commissions and taxes.

With this final figure, Vitor Roque becomes the second largest transfer in the history of Brazil. It exceeds the 72 million that Real Madrid is paying for Endrick and is only surpassed by the 88 million that Barcelona itself paid to Santos for Neymar.
The young striker’s contract with Barça is for five years, with the possibility of extending it for one more season and will have a termination clause of 1,000 million euros. His salary would be around six ‘kilos’ per course.
It is worth mentioning that Vitor Roque rejected offers from clubs like Tottenham, PSG and Manchester United. Barcelona, in his contract, put a clause that will be an economic bonus in case he is among the three finalists for the Ballon d’Or.
