The youngster received his trophy at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, before the club’s Under-18 side prevailed against Nottingham Forest in the FA Youth Cup final.
Fernandez, who joined United from Real Madrid in 2020, was presented with the award by Academy manager Nick Cox and club captain Harry Maguire.
The 19-year-old has been training regularly with the first team in recent weeks after a stellar youth season and was named for the first time in the first-team squad for April’s Premier League fixture against Chelsea.
