Ferrero extends mega recall – these children’s products are affected

Shortly before Easter, salmonella was discovered in Ferrero products. As a precaution, the company is now warning against children’s products – also in Germany.

Luxembourg/Arlon (dpa/anwi). Ferrero products are currently being recalled in a number of countries. Also in Germany. The recall was subsequently extended several times. Already since December 15th the company was aware of a case of salmonella at the factory in Arlon, Belgium, according to a statement from Ferrero France in Luxembourg. Accordingly, salmonella were found there in a sieve at the outlet of two raw material tanks. The products made from it were then held back. The filter has been replaced and controls on unfinished and finished products have been increased, Ferrero said. In the meantime determined by the Belgian public prosecutor in that case.
