The world football association Fifa withdrew Peru from the U17 World Cup in the winter of this year. “The decision became necessary because the host country, contrary to its obligations, was unable to provide the necessary infrastructure for the tournament,” FIFA said on Monday. The FIFA Council Committee will “determine a new organizer in due course”, the tournament is to continue to take place from November 10th to December 2nd, 2023.
