Fifth Grade Teacher Arrested for Keeping List of ‘Students She Wanted to Kill’ | World

A fifth-grade teacher at a school in Indiana, United States, was arrested after telling a student that she had a list of students and other members of the institution’s staff that she wanted to kill.

The young woman went to one of the school counselors last Wednesday, October 12, after listening to the teacher, Angélica Carrasquillo-Torres, 25, talk about committing suicide and killing students and school staff.

According to information from NBC Chicago, Carrasquillo-Torres had told the student that she was at the bottom of that list.

The situation was escalated by the institution’s staff to the principal’s office, where the teacher admitted having made such statements to the student and confirmed that she did have a “list of murders,” but did not turn it over. The principal advised the woman to leave the school and not return.

“The teacher was immediately removed from the classroom and detained (while) we investigated the incident. After the students were safely evacuated, lThe teacher was escorted off campus and we notified the Police”, indicated Angelica Foy, director of the school, in an email that she sent to the parents of the family and was revealed by WGN 9.

For his part, Carrasquillo-Torres she was arrested the next day and for the moment the charges against her have not been announced, while police continue to investigate.

After this fact, the educational institution gave virtual classes this Friday, October 14.
