Green June is the month of mobilization against cervical cancer. Every year 3,000 women develop cervical cancer and over 1,000 women die from it. In more than 75% of cases, it comes from a sexually transmitted human papillomavirus infection. Detected early, 90% of cervical cancers can be avoided!
To prevent cervical cancer:
✅a screening smear
✅ get vaccinated against HPV
