Against Tunisia, I wanted to play the full 60 minutes and for you all the players were in good shape too.

Tunisia started the tournament badly, what is the secret of the transformation of the performance against the Egyptian team?

After defeating them in the Mediterranean Games, they entered the African Cup without pressure or tension and gave their best.

Did you have any doubts about achieving the championship title?

Not at all I was confident of achieving the title. This generation is not allowed to lose titles.

In what order do you see the Egyptian national team among the world teams?

We are among the top four teams, along with Denmark, Spain and France

How far can the Egyptian national team reach during the next World Cup?

Playing in the golden square will be our main goal and of course we will try to get the championship because the levels are close

We play strong matches against the big teams and lose in the end. What is the secret to that?

Our level has improved a lot, but we need some time to reach the highest level. The difference in experience and minor details are missing in these matches.

What happened in the face of Spain, despite the lead by 5 goals?

I also mentioned the difference in experience and small details, and this match in particular witnessed some mistakes and two players were expelled, which affected us.

You played with the first team right after the Junior World Cup Did you feel nervous?

Zamalek does not stand on any player and can compensate distinctly, as happened throughout the past periods.

Who is your idol in handball?

I like Hussein Zaki’s method, especially since he was part of the coaching staff at the Junior World Cup.

Talk about the conflict between Al-Ahly and Zamalek to include you.

I was part of the junior national team delegation in Macedonia at the time, and I left it up to my father. My desire was to play for Zamalek and I informed Al Shams Club of this and sent them a video.

Why did you sign for Polish club Kielce two seasons before the official transfer?

Kelsey is a great team and lost the last edition to Barcelona in the Champions League final. The offer was appropriate at this time, especially as they moved to sign another left-back.

What is your next goal in handball?

I hope to reach the World Cup with the national team and get all possible championships with Zamalek, and I dream of winning the Champions League with Kelsey.

I was more focused with Zamalek. I wished Kelsey would win with a special performance by Ali Zain.

Who is the toughest player you have faced in your career? And the toughest goalkeeper?

Decca Mim is a player for Barcelona and the France national team. And Nicolas Landen, goalkeeper of the Danish national team.

Who are the best players in your position around the world?

Mikel Hansen (Denmark) and Nikola Karpatic (France)

Have you thought about playing a sport other than handball?

I played basketball at the beginning of my career but I did not like it and some people when I met them ask me to switch to basketball instead of handball.
