Hossam Hassan, coach of Al-Masry, expressed his outrage after the Al-Ahly match, and appealed to the President of the Republic to intervene “to obtain his right.”
Al-Masry lost 2-0 to Al-Ahly at Borg El Arab Stadium in the 30th round of the Egyptian League.
Hossam said after the match: “Al-Ahly is not a party to the mistakes that occurred, we were closer to winning or a draw.”
He added via MBC Egypt: “The Egyptian football system will not reform its condition in light of this amount of corruption in sports.”
And he continued, “I will not talk about our deserving of a penalty kick or a goal, but I will tell what the assistant referee did, who threatened me and told me: “I will not leave you and bring you a ball.” As if he killed me with this sentence, (Oh, black day)!”
He continued: “How can I take my right? I can’t believe what happened. This referee watches Hossam and Ibrahim before he was born and now is threatening me! I will not talk about football. I have dignity, I have the Order of the Republic, I served the country, and the assistant knows that the Football Association will not hold him accountable and that is why he is talking to me.” this way”.
He added, “I will not appeal to the Minister of Youth and Sports or the Prime Minister, but to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. You have given a lot to the country, and Ibrahim and I worked hard because we love Egypt.”
He continued: “The Football Association will not give me my right. The officials in the sport did not respect the public opinion from the ground up, who wished that we would take over the task of the national team, but that is not our issue and we will not talk about it.”
He stressed, “I am a citizen who is crying out because of a corrupt system. I appeal to the highest rank in the country.”
And he concluded: “Oh Lord, next year I will not be completely in this country.”

Ibrahim Hassan, director of football in Al-Masry, had He expressed his deep dissatisfaction with the refereeing performance in the Al-Ahly match.

He continued: “The defender is the one who touched the ball, and therefore if you were a striker, you drank a cup of tea on the goal line and the ball reached you and scored it, you are not offside, fear God, Egyptian football has become very difficult.”
He continued: “We do not sleep, we work day and night to correct the mistakes of those who preceded us. It is suspicious not to repeat the shot of the uncalculated goal, it is a scandal.”
He asked: “What if the Egyptian relegated? Who will get his right? If there was justice in the Egyptian football, that match would be repeated, and the Egyptian was able to win it.”
He added: “Al-Ahly did not involve the youth in front of the Alexandrian Federation. This happened in the 1985 Egypt Cup final against Zamalek. The players at that time were 18 and 19 years old. As for those who participate now with Al-Ahly and Zamalek, they are born in 2000 and 1999 and are registered over the age, do not laugh at the audience.” .
And he concluded: “Al-Ahly was worried about Al-Masry and he knew the strength of Hossam Hassan and his technical staff, so he did not involve any player who appeared in front of Al-Ittihad, and Swarish said in the press conference that he did so to avoid burning the players in front of a strong team like Al-Masry.”
Al-Ahly won the second successive victory after the last victory over Al-Ittihad of Alexandria with three goals without a response.
Al-Ahly raises its score to 62 points in third place in the Egyptian League table, with a game postponed.
Al-Masry’s balance is stuck at 33 points in 11th place.
Al-Ahly’s double victory came through Rami Rabia from a penalty kick, and Hossam Hassan.
Al-Ahly was able to avenge its defeat in the first round against Al-Masry, which ended with the same result in favor of the Port Said team.
