Karim Benzema: “I’ll see if I’ve made history at the club when I finish my football career”
In an interview prior to the final, French striker Karim Benzema commented on his impressions of Real Madrid’s season in the Champions League and the path they had to travel to be on the verge of eternal glory. “Those emotions will last a lifetime, because our path in the Champions League was not easy,” he said.
Regarding the importance he had in the crucial matches for the white team, the striker stated that all the matches are important to him and that he tries to make each game exciting for the fans, to whom he will try to give them the cup. “I will see if I have made club history when my football career is over,” he said.
