In an interview with “Wahlaq Shaw” with George Salibi via Al-Jadeed, Health Minister Firas Abyad confirmed that the general closure is the “last option”, unless the evasion of preventive measures and the high number of injuries continues.
He added: There is a meeting with the Minister of Education next week to take a decision regarding returning to schools, and we will do what we can to do so because canceling a new school year will have a “disastrous” effect on this generation.
