The weather risk posted a forecast temperature map 1,500 meters above Taiwan on Facebook, pointing out that from today (21st) until next Monday (25th), there will be obvious dry and hot air in the mainland Fujian and Zhejiang. And around Taiwan, it will only get hotter today. The extreme high temperature in various places has a chance to reach 36 to 37 degrees or above. The impact is most obvious on weekends. The high pressure over Taiwan is very strong. The center is near Taiwan. It remains to be seen whether there will be a record temperature when the chance soars to 38 to 39 degrees.
Peng Qiming further explained that the highest temperature mostly occurs in places with less ventilation or lack of green space, such as the Taipei Basin or some inland canyons in the eastern half. The extreme high temperature of 40 degrees, the hottest time point may fall from Sunday to next Monday (24th to 25th).
Peng Qiming said that the high temperature is not only the characteristics of the high pressure itself, but also the dry and hot air from Zhejiang and Fujian. The high temperature environment is very similar. Take Shezidao Station as an example. From Sunday to next Monday (24th to 25th), it is very likely that the temperature will exceed 40 degrees. Be mentally prepared and pay attention to staying at the station from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Air-conditioned indoors.
