“As of this Thursday night, the departure maneuvers of five vessels that were anchored in the port of Barranquilla begin to be carried out. This, following the work of cooling two tanks that have not been hit by the flames, would take effect and mitigate the risk of a much greater emergency,” said the captain of Ship Jesus Zambranocaptain of the Port of Barranquilla.
He added that, in total, there are six vessels anchored within the port and three more remain two nautical miles away waiting to enter the port area.
