First player to play 600 Twenty20 matches; Pollard owns a huge record

London: Former West Indies captain Pollard became the first player to play 600 Twenty20 matches. Pollard set the record for London Spirit in The Hundred against Manchester Original.

Pollard scored 34 runs off 11 balls in his 600th Twenty20. A four and four sixes came from the Windies big hitter. Pollard scored 11,723 runs in 600 Twenty20 matches. Batting average 31.34.

Pollard’s highest score in Twenty20 is 104. Pollard scored a half-century in 56 T20Is. 309 wickets were taken. Better Figure 4-15. Pollard has been a part of Twenty20 teams in many parts of the world. Pollard played for Trinidad and Tobago, Mumbai Indians, Adelaide Strikers, Melbourne Renegades, Dhaka Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans and Trinibago Knight Riders.

Pollard is behind Windies’ Bravo who has played 543 matches. Malik is third with 472 Twenty20 matches, Gayle is fourth with 463 matches and Ravi Bopara is fifth with 426 matches.
