The first spaceport for satellite launches on the mainland of the European Union opened in northern Sweden on Friday. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Swedish King Carl Gustaf and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson cut the symbolic ribbon for this at the Esrange Space Center.
