Five detainees left the fourth consecutive day of demonstrations in Santiago

From this noon there was a new march of secondary students in Plaza Italiawho advanced through Providencia towards the east and remained in the area during the followingnoon, while also excesses were reported by the Alameda, at the height of Santa Lucía.

Although at first it was a student call to demonstrate through the streets of the capital, this began to divert to the already traditional excesses in the vicinity of Plaza Baquedano.

During the followingnoon there were clashes between some 300 people, mostly adults, with Carabineros personnel.

After 9:00 p.m., the Plaza Baquedano sector was no longer with demonstrators and traffic was enabledalthough police personnel were kept to prevent the place from taking over.

Because of these protests, Carabineros reported that five people were arrested for the crimes of disorder and public disturbances.

About public transportation, Transantiago had to make various detours in Alameda-Providencia axis, and to the east they change routes at Spain Avenue, Manuel Rodriguez and Diagonal Paraguay.

The Santiago Subwaymeanwhile, reports that the Baquedano stationof lines 1 and 5, is once more enabled and available to combine, while they remain closed Catholic University (L1) i.e Fine Arts (L5) for disturbances in the outskirts.
