In Flanders, households can receive up to 25,000 euros in grants and 60,000 euros in interest-free loans via the government.
The region wants to accelerate the pace of renovations to relieve high energy bills and reduce CO2 emissions. Currently, only 5% of Flemish homes have an energy performance certificate A, while all homes must obtain it by 2050.
A new platform (“MijnVerbouwPremie”) will also open on October 1 and will group together all the renovation bonuses available in order to simplify applications. Almost two-thirds of Flemings would be entitled to a bonus.
