This Tuesday, August 22 at noon, the prison of Bruges went into code red, two prisoners escaped. The alert was given via a phone call from a passerby who said he saw two people climbing the prison wall. They reportedly jumped over the fence before fleeing. After receiving the phone call, police quickly confirmed the escape to the media without saying more. “We can only say that two people fled. Everyone has been warned. All surrounding police areas are participating in the search. It is therefore a real manhunt that is taking place at the moment.
