Saturday January 28, the spectators had come in number to Roudour. They applauded the remarkable and very unique show by Florent Marchet, master of writing and narration. Despite the fatigue at the end of the tour, the artist who said he was literally carried by a fantastic audience, offered him two encores and a very long moment of exchanges after the concert.
He invited the spectators to his bittersweet “garden party” (named after his latest opus) worthy of a Souchon who would have put on Martin Parr’s glasses. With his accomplice multi-instrumentalist and white clown, he puts bright color in a cheerful scenography to add acidity to his concerns. He tempers the darkness of his words with the greedy humor of his transitions, written especially for each concert. Songs of intranquility, of course, but with human warmth, a sense of celebration, a taste for others in tune with the 220 spectators touched to the heart.
