Despite an “inoperable” cancerous tumor detected on one of his lungs, Florent Pagny is still just as active. From the top of his 61 years, the singer multiplies the projects and the public appearances. After having, in particular, chained the festivals during the summer, the Frenchman returned to the studio to produce his next album. A project which should consist of duets with other artists and which is, as always, particularly awaited by its fans.
But this is not the only news concerning Florent Pagny. On September 1, TF1 decided to devote a big evening to the singer. After his concert for the benefit of the ELA association, a documentary on his career will be broadcast on the French channel.
The opportunity for the director of the latter, Michel Jankielewicz, to deliver some crisp anecdotes about the star. Like, for example, the time when Florent Pagny was the victim of a terrible fall just before a concert at the arenas of Nîmes, on June 30th. “The day before Nîmes, he fell and broke two or three ribs”, tells the director to Télé Star. “He ended up in the emergency room in Nanterre and had to have stitches put in his chin. Fortunately, he has a technique of breathing and singing which allowed him to perform the shows. But it just goes to show how resistant he is to pain…”
