With Bovet’s Récital 23, we enter a world where fine watchmaking and jewelery come together. The house, which has set up its quarters in the castle of Môtiers (NE), expresses with this moon phase its attachment to the decorative arts. The domed star, inserted at 12 o’clock, is engraved by hand and filled with luminescent material, so as not to pale in comparison to the 72 diamonds set on the bezel and the 174 on the case. The different phases are read through a three-dimensional circular opening. The hour dial is engraved, chased and finished by hand. And to add a romantic touch to this poetic complication, every hour the hands form a heart.
