Lucas Bergvall has signed a contract with the London club that runs through 2029, it has been announced the club on its website.
On Djurgården’s websitewhich is the club he was sold from, Bergvall says, among other things, that he received a warm welcome from “Spurs”.
– It is a fantastic feeling to sign for Tottenham and a dream to have the opportunity to play in the Premier League. I have received an incredibly warm reception from the club and feel really welcome, says Bergvall.
Record for Djurgården
Djurgården’s sports director Bosse Andersson confirms that it is Djurgården’s biggest sale ever.
– This is the biggest player sale in Djurgården’s history. All the papers are now signed where we agree on a transfer – and from July 1 Lucas Bergvall will transfer to Tottenham. Until then, Lucas will belong to Djurgården and play for us during the spring season.
Bergvall will join Djurgården’s training camp on Gran Canaria on Sunday.
