TLAXCALA, Tlax., March 6, 2023.- This Monday there was a protest at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala (UATx) two days following commemorating International Women’s Day, the complaint is harassment of a student.
Given this fact, they stopped educational activities in this Faculty of Medicine located in the municipality of Zacatelco, through cardboard messages to stop harassment and asked for the departure of Professor Juan Ortiz del Ángel, whom they accuse of acts of harassment.
Likewise, they point to the director of this Faculty named Rosalía to protect the alleged perpetrator.
Therefore, the students demand that the university authorities take action on the matter and investigate these alleged acts of harassment by a professor, as well as his dismissal.
