The US automaker said the above recall covers some Explorer, Lincoln Aviator and Lincoln Corsair models manufactured between 2020 and 2022, equipped with 360-degree cameras, and covers 382,000 units in the US market.
Ford says there have been reports of 17 minor crashes related to the problem video player error and more than 2,100 warranty reports but no reports of injuries.
The recall expands and replaces the recall of 228,000 vehicles in 2021. Dealers that will update the image processing module software and vehicles previously updated in the old recall will need the new update. .
