VKI product recall Borotalco does not affect any products on the Austrian market

Vienna (OTS) The Austrian Association for Consumer Information (VKI) today warned once morest Borotalco products in the course of a product recall (. The products mentioned are exclusively Italian goods. This can be seen and verified by the photo documentation of the products and the batch numbers. The Borotalco products mentioned are not sold on the Austrian market by Bolton Austria and are therefore not available to Austrian consumers.

We always make sure not to include prohibited ingredients such as butylphenylmethylpropional (BMHCA) – also known as Lilial for short – in our range, because the health of our consumers is our top priority. Borotalco’s formulations were changed in 2021, but products containing this ingredient were still allowed to be sold until March 2022. Accordingly, those products were removed from Borotalco’s Austrian range in good time. We can therefore assure that the products mentioned are not available on Austrian shelves.
