Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro Returns to Orlando Lodging After Hospitalization – NBC Orlando (31)

MIAMI – The former president of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro returned Tuesday night to the house where he is staying in Orlando (southern USA) after, according to family sources, he was hospitalized for abdominal pain as a result of the aftermath of the attack with a knife he suffered in 2018 AdventHealth Celebration Hospital never confirmed that he was admitted there, nor did it report that he had been discharged.

His wife Michelle was the one who reported that he had been hospitalized on Monday for “abdominal discomfort” and a photograph was published on the networks in which Bolsonaro is seen dressed in a gown and street pants and lying on a hospital bed.

After two days on call at the hospital and at the home of mixed martial arts fighter José Aldo on the outskirts of Orlando, photographers and cameramen were able to capture images of Bolsonaro arriving at the residence last night.

The former president, who left Brazil while still in office two days before the inauguration of Luiz Inácio Lula a Silva, got out of the vehicle in which he arrived.

Bolsonaro was in Orlando when last Sunday “Bolsonaristas” protesters who do not accept the defeat of their leader in last October’s elections invaded the headquarters of the three state powers in Brasilia in order to put an end to Lula’s government.

“Peaceful demonstrations, within the law, are part of democracy. However, vandalism and invasions of public buildings such as those that occurred today, as well as those practiced by the left in 2013 and 2017, escape the rule,” the ex-president stated on his social media the same Sunday.

The retired Army captain, who left power on January 1, repudiated in his message “the accusations, without evidence” made by the current head of state, who stated that his predecessor “stimulated” the coup acts of his closest supporters radicals.
