Former Captain Lee Geun of the Naval Special Warfare Group, who entered the Ukrainian Volunteer Forces without permission for the purpose of participating in the war, released his current situation.
On the afternoon of the 30th, former Captain Lee Geun posted on his Instagram, “Dear Koreans, there has been a lot of speculation and confusion about my whereabouts since I came to Ukraine. I’m going to sleep,” he said.
He continued, “After arriving at the Ukrainian International Corps and signing the contract, I gathered foreign agents from the United States and the United Kingdom with practical experience to form a special operations team. Please refrain from speculating about the time or location of the mission.”
He added, “We ask for your understanding that we cannot reveal more detailed information than this for security reasons.”
“I am receiving full support and support from the Ukrainian Army and the Ukrainian people, and the Ukrainians are unanimously expressing their deep appreciation for the contribution of the International Corps,” he said. and it does not violate operational security.”
