Horrified neighbors and passers-by noticed the scene and called for help.

Fortunately, the tragedy might be avoided and the emergency services were able to recover the little one and bring her to safety under the eyes of the mayor, Véronique Bonni, present on the spot, reports Védia.

Apparently this is already the second time that this lady has acted in this way, revealed the mayor.

The little girl was taken into care by a specialized child support service.
