Former Moscow Deputy Head Arrested for Bribery and Land Fraud: Updates and News

The former deputy head of the Leninsky urban district of the Moscow region, Albert Gravina, was arrested by the Tver court of the capital. He will remain in pre-trial detention until January 22, 2024.

“Gravin will go to pre-trial detention until January 22, 2024,” reports Telegram channel of the capital’s courts of general jurisdiction. They added that a criminal case against Gravin was initiated under Article 290, Part 6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “Receiving a bribe on an especially large scale.” He is charged with receiving a bribe in the amount of 10 million rubles. Presumably, this official is associated with fraud related to land issues.

Albert Gravin was detained on suspicion of violations during the construction of residential buildings. They could limit the air defense systems of the Moscow region.
