Last winter market the name ‘Santi’ was even mentioned to reinforce Real Madrid and although they were only rumours, Rafael van Der Vaart, former Merengue player, already has him on his radar and advises Feyenoord to sell him as soon as possible.
“If someone offers 20 or 25 million euros, then you have to get rid of him. All this should be a goal if you are really that good. If someone wants to pay a lot of money for him, do it immediately,” Rafael mentioned.
Currently the price of Santiago Giménez is around 50 million euros according to Transfermarkt figures, but the multi-time champion in the Netherlands recommends that Feyenoord sell him if an offer arrives for less than half, because despite being one of the best players in the Eredividisie, van der Vaart does not trust him much.
