Former Deputy Attorney General Kim Hak-eui, who shocked the whole country with the so-called villa sex service incident.

The charges of sexual favors and bribery have already become impossible to punish, and even the last remaining charges of bribery have been acquitted.

It’s been 9 years since the suspicion arose.

In the meantime, after the prosecution’s ‘controversy over taking care of it’, it ended up not being able to ask for any charges.

Reporter Yoon Su-han covered the story.

In 2013, Kim Hak-eui, the Vice Minister of Justice, resigned after six days in office.

The video of receiving sexual favors at a villa by Mr. Yoon Jung-cheon, a construction company, was the aftermath of a national outrage.

However, while the investigation was ongoing, the prosecution was consistent in ‘covering my family’.

Even the charge of bribery of 43 million won, which was found guilty, was overturned today.

The Supreme Court’s ruling, which returned the case saying, “It is difficult to believe the testimony of Mr. Choi, a businessman who allegedly paid a bribe,” was accepted by the Supreme Court.

Not only did Mr. Choi change his words several times during the investigation and trial, but also what he said to the prosecution right before the testimony became a problem.

The court pointed out that although the prosecution’s ‘preliminary interview with witnesses’ was not illegal, “It is difficult to conclude that there was no conciliation or pressure from the prosecution, given that the prosecution showed relevant materials to Choi in advance and there was no record of the interview.” I did.

As the Supreme Court has already passed the judgment once, it is highly likely that Kim’s acquittal will be confirmed as it is.

This is the conclusion that came nine years after the so-called ‘suspicion of sexual favors at the villa’ surfaced.

Prosecutors have dismissed the charges twice even after watching a video of former Vice Minister Kim’s face.

At the end of the third investigation, pushed by the ‘controversy over caring’, we managed to hand over former Vice Minister Kim to trial.

However, most of the charges of bribery, including sexual favors, have already passed the probation period.

Therefore, the courts of the first and second trial did not judge whether former Vice Minister Kim was guilty of a crime even though he admitted that he had been provided with continuous sexual opportunities by Mr.

Currently, the prosecution is fighting a court battle, claiming that the emergency departure ban that prevented Kim’s ‘departure from the city of escape’ was illegal in the past.
