Iasonas Fotilas, Member of Parliament for ND Achaia, was placed yesterday in the plenary session of the Parliament during the debate on the motion of no confidence submitted by PASOK, SYRIZA, New Left and Pleussi Eleftherias against the government.
During his presentation, Mr. Fotilas wondered for what reasons the opposition parties proceeded to table the motion of no confidence in the Government.
Obviously, the reason was not the issue of wiretapping, given that today we know that the Prosecutor of the AP. during the investigation he conducted, he found that the Prosecutor of the EYP legally allowed his monitoring. In addition, the reason could not be the case of the mails since this event took place last month, the developments have been set in motion and Ms. Asimakopoulou put herself out of the ballot.
It could be the case of the Tempe accident, but the Member of Parliament of Achaia wondered why the opposition parties did not submit a motion of no confidence at the time, but instead come to the Plenary with the same arguments that they developed a week ago and which were answered, or maybe they did not all recognize the existence of human error with the first station master himself who confessed it from the first moment?
Furthermore, the Member of Parliament referred to the statement of the Minister of Infrastructure on SYRIZA that it is unthinkable that the execution of a contract is linked to any accident as well as to the article of a well-known newspaper about editing the talks where he highlighted the operation of instrumentalizing human suffering due to the accident in Tempe by the opposition parties.
In addition, he recalled that the state television had revealed the next day what BHIMA “discovered” a year later, while the publication itself admits that the investigative authorities from the first moment had the entire material uncensored.
In conclusion, Mr. Fotilas made it clear that if the political parties want the case to reach the court, they should submit a specific proposal for specific offenses related to the accident, such as homicide for example, but they have not done so because they obviously know that they do not have no basis.

Ladies and gentlemen of the opposition,
What is the reason that PASOK submitted and the others rushed to co-sign this motion of no confidence?
What is it that motivated K. Androulakis last Sunday to decide to make use of this Parliamentary tool?
Is it tracking his cell phone? Hmm Pale !!
Let alone the only reason we still don’t know why the Prosecutor’s Office allowed his monitoring, is because he didn’t want it! Because he is the only one who could come to knowledge, he was already called to do so, and he did not seek it.
Of course, today we know that the Prosecutor of the AP during the investigation she conducted, she found that the Public Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor’s Office legally allowed the monitoring of the President of PASOK. After that, what did Mr. Androulakis do? Nothing !! That is, Mr. Androulakis learns that he is being monitored by the EYP, he is asked to be informed about the reasons for his monitoring, he refuses to be informed, then we learn that the Prosecutor of the AP. decides that the EYP Prosecutor did her job correctly, she does not appeal against the council that acquitted the EYP Prosecutor, she does not sue her, but what does she do?

Either the competent investigative authority decides that a former Minister is involved and sends the case file to the Parliament “immediately”, something that has not happened to date, or the political parties submit a specific proposal for specific offenses connected to the accident, such as homicide for example. This has not happened either!!
You are shouting but you have not filed a proposal. Why ? Obviously because you know it has no basis.
The truth is that this is another attempt to exploit pain in order to keep the case in the news if possible until the European elections. Why don’t you have another narrative in order to hit the government. So either we order a publication even if it lacks seriousness, or we adopt and exploit the specific publication that is convenient for us in order to do our work.
But everything has a limit!
For the leader of the Official Opposition to make statements that question the very Democracy in our country and classify it as third world countries, calling on the Prime Minister to leave peacefully, this insults the country itself and cannot be tolerated. Yesterday, a first-class member of SYRIZA came out and wished that the European Prosecutor would bring down the Government. How exactly does a prosecutor, even from a third country, but regardless of nationality, how does a prosecutor bring down governments.
He ended by saying that the Supreme Court lacks credibility vis-a-vis the European Prosecutor!!!!
And this gentleman will be a candidate for MEP!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, colleagues of SYRIZA and you of PASOK who have found the ally you deserve, you are playing your change only because in this last game you are not only risking your own head and your own political future but you do not hesitate to slander the same your country and those institutions that with struggles and blood constitute the achievements of the Republic!!
