Paradox officially announced that it will publish Foundry, from Channel 3 Entertainment, a first-person factory management simulator. Speaking badly and soon, it will be the classic management game but with a first-person view and terrain that will extend to infinity. Technically, you won’t lack content, but will the proposal itself be good? That’s for you to decide.
Foundry is a title that combines the question of cubes Minecraft with robots, automation and color, where we will have to create terrain blocks to make pipes, conveyor belts and more. The idea is that we are going to expand our energy system and territory to improve our arsenal, and little by little gain infinite ground. This way you will walk between conveyor belts building, managing and assembling production cycles.
Since it would be terrible if a conveyor belt breaks two kilometers away, you will be able to create assistant robots that make automation… well, even more automatic. In addition, you will be able to play with more players in multiplayer mode and thus collaborate to put together group projects. If one alone takes the means of production, it is a capitalist success but when you take it with a group of friends, it is a triumph of the Russian motherland.
Foundry will debut in Early Access at some point, still unconfirmed. Of course, starting October 9 you will be able to download a demo as part of Steam Next Fest.
