CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Four astronauts returned to Earth early Monday morning following a six-month stay on the International Space Station.

His SpaceX capsule descended with several parachutes deployed to slow it down until it fell into the Atlantic Ocean off Florida.

Inside were astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren “Woody” Hoburg, both from NASA; Russian Andrei Fedyaev and Sultan al Neyadi of the United Arab Emirates, the first person from the Arab world to spend extended time in orbit.

Before leaving the station, they said they missed taking a hot shower, drinking a cup of hot coffee and enjoying the sea breeze since they arrived there in March. Their return to Earth was delayed by one day due to bad weather conditions at the site where they were scheduled to fall into the sea.

SpaceX sent their replacements over a week ago.
