Brussels Airport will launch its summer season on March 27, with six new destinations and four new airlines, the airport announced in a press release on Thursday.
From April, the island of Aruba, launched by TUI fly, will complete the offer of exotic destinations, which already includes Curaçao and Havana, offered by Air Belgium and TUI fly. In Europe, Ohrid (North Macedonia), Zadar (Croatia) of TUI fly and Kalamata (Greece), operated by Aegan, are among the new destinations.
In addition, the Transavia company will park a Boeing 737-800 at Brussels Airport from June 30, to offer 16 weekly flights to Alicante, Ibiza, Faro and Heraklion, adds the airport. Flyr, a Norwegian company, will start in May with one flight a week to Oslo, while Play (Iceland) will offer four flights a week to Reykjavik, with connections to the United States. In addition, Delta Air Lines is resuming daily flights to New York/JFK at the end of March, after a two-year absence. Air Transat is also returning, with three weekly flights to Montreal, starting in May, as is CSA Czech Airlines, at the end of March, for flights to Prague.

Miami (TUI fly), Ouagadougou and Conakry (Brussels Airlines) are finally on the program for intercontinental destinations accessible directly. The network in Africa will be expanded with the introduction of a 9th Airbus A330.
