four-wheel drive and German motors

There are many companies on the world market that produce completely different types of transport. An example of this are Hyundai, Geely And Dongfeng, in the lineup of which there are cars, crossovers, tractors, specialized and other equipment. Thanks to a wide range of products, these companies are not affected by changes in the situation in individual market segments and have demonstrated financial stability over the years. But in Russia, manufacturers producing wheeled vehicles do not use this approach.

In particular, GAS today it specializes in assembling only commercial vehicles, and, through its subsidiary PAZ, also buses. Such a narrow specialization leads to the fact that the Gorky Automobile Plant is very dependent on the state of the Russian market. And in the event of a decrease in sales volumes, GAZ may suffer significant losses. According to the domestic designer, the expansion of the model range of manufactured cars at the expense of today’s popular crossovers will help solve the problem voiced. He announced the publication of a series of renders that will reveal the appearance of a potential cross-coupe PAZ-3205 2022-2023.

The reason why the Pavlovsk Automobile Plant was chosen as the manufacturer of the future crossover is, perhaps, that the GAZ brand is today strongly associated with a company that produces commercial vehicles. Despite the fact that the published renders partially reveal the concept of the new PAZ cross-coupe, the possibility of such a car cannot be ruled out. Assistance in the development of such a model can be provided by Volkswagen — a longtime partner of GAZ. The appearance of such a car is beneficial for the German concern, since today it does not supply a single coupe-shaped crossover to Russia. In this regard, Volkswagen must provide its own platform, all-wheel drive transmission and engines for the new cross-coupe PAZ-3205 2022-2023.
