FPÖ – Hauser: “ORF spread the government’s Corona propaganda without thinking!” | Freedom Parliamentary Club

ORF financed by compulsory taxes is part of the system and far from any objectivity

Vienna (OTS) – “The ORF has a public service mandate. But we have seen, particularly in connection with Corona and the ORF reporting, that only one opinion and one position was conveyed on a continuous loop as permissible and true on the ORF: namely that of the black-green-red-pink unity party. The ORF has taken over, transported and propagated all the measures with which the system – of which the ORF is also one – without reflection. For example, people who peacefully demonstrated against government measures and in particular the vaccination requirement were vilified on and by the ORF more than once as ‘corona deniers’ and worse,” recalled FPÖ National Council member Gerald Hauser today.

At the latest with the publication of the minutes of the RKI Corona crisis team, it became clear that all the measures with which society was divided and the basic rights and freedoms of the population were restricted were not based on scientific evidence and facts, but were the result of one political calculation that the unity parties in Austria “followed” because they obviously had a “taste” for monitoring, controlling and patronizing their own population.

“The ORF presented the government’s measures as virtually without alternative in an almost epic way and even defended the school closures, which not even the traffic light commission had recommended or decided on. The reporting on revelations of lack of evidence should now be at least as detailed and the ORF should now be just as intensively involved in clarifying the responsibilities for these Corona crimes against humanity,” said Hauser.
