A joint statement issued today, Thursday, stated that the operation was organized by the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs through its Crisis and Support Center.

France thanked the Saudi and Djiboutian authorities for their assistance in the process of evacuating the nationals, according to the joint statement, and France, through its armed forces, evacuated 936 people, including 214 French nationals and their families, since the beginning of the evacuations.

France renewed its call to all parties to stop the fighting and return to political dialogue, and the 72-hour ceasefire in Sudan, which was brokered by the United States, remains fragile as evacuations continue, twelve days following the start of the fighting that left more than 459 dead and more than 4000 injured according to the United Nations.
