“France has no choice”, according to Marine Le Pen

“France has no choice” and must leave Burkina Faso after the request made by the local authorities, according to the president of the RN (National Rally) group, at the National Assembly, Marine Le Pen.

During a television interview broadcast on Monday morning on BFMTV, the former presidential candidate considered that Paris “cannot stay in Burkina Faso against the advice of the Burkinabe government”.

Marine Le Pen assures that this intervention decided under Nicolas Sarkozy has made it possible to “disseminate weapons everywhere”.

Regarding the relationship between France and Africa, the MP pleads for a policy that is “neither greed nor charity”.

“The most important thing is to work with the awareness that we are sovereign nations on an equal footing”, she declared before castigating the European Union, which “conditions a whole series of aid to changes in the laws, to an evolution of manners”.

Nevertheless, Marine Le Pen affirms that there “is no anti-French feeling” in Senegal where she was visiting this weekend, and believes that it is rather “the French leaders, who, with regard to of Africa, have a behavior that is badly felt and badly perceived”.

Describing this approach as “error” which prevents the creation of the conditions for “cooperation”, the elected representative from the North wishes “to give priority to French-speaking countries, particularly in terms of student training” so that “they return there. help in the development of their countries”.
