François Hollande and Julie Gayet said “yes” to each other

After eight years of relationship, François Hollande and Julie Gayet took the plunge and said “yes” to their friends and family. The ceremony was held this Saturday in the city of Tulle in Corrèze, electoral land of François Hollande since he was deputy of the department from 1988 to 1993 and from 1997 to 2007.

The ceremony had remained very secret and was done in a small committee. It was Bernard Combes, a friend of the former president who was his deputy in the National Assembly, who carried out the civil marriage.

This is the very first time that François Hollande is getting married. As a reminder, the politician is the father of four children he had with his former partner, Ségolène Royal.
