from Medellin, the Attorney General of the Nation, Francisco Barbosa, announced that after the investigations carried out and according to the contributions of the witnesses, Freddy Rincón, was driving the car in which he had an accident on Calle 5 with Carrera 34 in Cali, an incident for which he died last Wednesday.

“In the case of Freddy Rincón I am going to announce the following to the country: The Prosecutor’s Office concluded that the vehicle in which Fredy Rincón was traveling was driven by him. This conclusion was supported by the legal medicine forensics in the technical studies and corroborated with the witnesses who were inside the vehicle and the cameras in the area,” the prosecutor reported.
The prosecutor added that with this investigation some of the speculations are clarified and that all the additional elements that may derive from these issues “are being analyzed within the framework of autonomy and independence on the part of the Prosecutor of the case”.
